We believe in family, in gathering, and in home. We believe in honoring what God has given us: each other. We believe in creating moments that leave our kids feeling seen, loved, and valued. Moments that teach them what it means to have family and what good quality time looks like. By modeling these moments, our children will most likely engage in this way with their families one day. We believe that keeping it simple is essential-that the value of the experience is what counts. So when we look back years later, it won’t be the chaos, the stress, or the busyness that will sit at the forefront of our minds. It will be the togetherness we had, the laughing till our stomachs hurt, and the feeling of belonging that comes with home.
We believe that when our focus and priorities are in line with God, it is then that we are truly living in the fullness of who we were created to be. Community plays a vital role in our pursuit, which is why the Genuine Mom's community exists. Whether through our monthly meet-ups or seasonal magazine, we pursue quality friendship with open hearts.

The Lord led the Israelites out of Egypt to save them from slavery and usher them into a new life - a new mindset - bring them out of the familiar (slavery) and into the freedom only He could provide. He moved them so they could experience His salvation and live in the fullness of who He created them to be.
He led them out of Egypt as a pillar of cloud. Training them to look up. To have a new posture - directing their heart to understanding.
God stirred this inside us this past weekend. He called us out of the familiar and into a new mindset - a new way of life.
He called us to lean in, listen closely, seek Him like silver and hidden treasure. For He has wisdom and peace for us - a peace that surpasses all understanding.
God was all over this weekend restoring our spirits. The Holy Spirit was knocking - literally - opening doors to get in. God met everyone of us right where we were at - hugged us tight - and reassured us that we are not alone - reminding us to come to Him.
