If you have just gotten engaged you are now faced with making many decisions. One of the tough decisions for me was finding the perfect location to get married. I had so many needs & wants. I had to consider my budget, the season, the weather, & will there be enough room to get ready!  Well, perhaps I can help YOU with that tough decision. Today I would like to introduce you to the three fantastic women from The Oaks Events, Wedding Venue in Midland, NC.

These girls have a serious love for weddings and wedding planning. They want the best for their brides & grooms and will pull out all the stops for them. They can sing, dance, laugh, and be extremely goofy. Most importantly, they know all the lyrics to the Fresh Prince of Bel Air theme song. (that is the moment I knew we would be friends!)

Michele and Stacy are working moms, each with a boy and girl, and Sarah is working toward her masters in psychology in her spare time. They have put together a wedding venue that will fit anyone's style.  It is almost a blank canvas waiting for you to create the wedding of your dreams. What I love most is that Michele, Sarah, & Stacy aren't just providing a venue they are providing a planning service too.  I must say, after spending just a couple of hours with them, I think any bride would be lucky to have them on her side.

"What is The Oaks Events…. It is our heart and soul.  It is not just a job to us; we live for weddings.

When you come to The Oaks Events Venue you get so much more than just a place to hold your wedding… you get a caring, experienced staff working to make your special day relaxing and enjoyable for everyone. Our staff has a wide variety of talent; years of event planning experience, a combined total of over 30 years customer service experience, a degree in business administration and 6 years of office management make our staff adequately qualified to take on the task of running a successful business. Each owner has their own area of expertise; when an issue arises, each owner looks at the situation from a different perspective so plans are created and executed quickly and efficiently.

Nestled in the middle of 100 acres of farmland, the Oaks event house offers a comfortable and inviting space to spend time in. The house features a bridal suite, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 large sitting areas with gas fireplaces, a pool room with wet bar, grooms dressing room, formal dining room and large kitchen, all for use by our guests. The versatile property offers many areas for wedding ceremonies including in the stunning gazebo set on the property’s 4 acre lake.  Receptions take place under an oak tree canopy and event tents. The property has beautiful lighting throughout and the gazebo’s reflection shines magically off the lake by night creating the perfect atmosphere for any event.

With such an amazing property on our hands and such great friends to share a journey with, it’s no wonder we are so excited to share our little piece of heaven with the world. We are The Oaks and we hope you have as much fun here as we have creating it."
