Senior Portraits | Promo Video Reveal | Melissa Lynn Hunt Photography

For those of you who don't know, I am absolutely smitten with the talents of Iron Kite Films!  I've worked with Neil from Iron Kite once before on my Promo Film for my Wedding business.  It was with great excitement that I could work with him again on my Senior Portrait Promo Film.  Well, let's be honest, it was a no brainer that I would work with him again. Fast forward to a few days ago.

After a long exhausting 11 hours of travel from the West back home, I opened my email for the first time that day.  Let me say, that the last thing I wanted to do was check email after the day I had.  However, I do my best to respond to my clients promptly and felt like I had to at least make sure everyone was taken care of.  There were some client emails but the one that stood out the most was THE email from Neil!  I knew it was the link to the finished film. The fact that the title was "Yay!" kinda gave it away too! I bypassed every single email to get to his.

It was with great anticipation that I opened the link.  I knew the film would be great, because it was in Neil's hands.  I knew it would.  However, there is still that insecurity of the unknown.  This film was a challenge for me.  There was so much I wanted to convey and so many people I wanted to reach.  Yes, I'm pretty deep about this stuff.  I just wanted it to be perfect. I wanted it to truly represent who I was and I wanted for my business.

Well, after watching it until I couldn't stay awake any longer, I fell asleep with the biggest grin on my face!! Neil had managed to make my dream for this film, come true! Neil, I hope you know how thankful I am for you and your talents.

I want to thank the most talented and amazing Kelsie Boles.  I can never thank you enough for all that you do for me and my clients.  I definitely know that you are a huge blessing in my life! I love you!

I also want to thank Mary Hannah.  You were more than perfect and I am so glad that you were a part of something so important to me.  You light up the world with your smile.  You also have this beautiful calming presence about you.  I am truly thankful you jumped at the chance to be a part of this film. I am looking forward to working with you even more in the future!

Lastly, thank you to the Cochrane Family for opening up your property to us.  It is absolutely beautiful and served as an excellent backdrop for my film.

So finally, here it is... (you might want to make it full screen view -it's pretty awesome that way!)

Here are some behind the scenes images I took.  We had such a blast filming this video.  We learned that even in a field of cow patties and mud puddles things can still be dreamy.  We also learned that I am awesome at driving a F150! Neil and Mary Hannah would definitely agree!!
