Keeping It Classy | Ice Cream Inspiration | Charlotte NC Photographer

Inspiration can be found everywhere and in the most unique and unexpected places. From the colors of the random patch of wild flowers you fly by on the side of a highway to the unique structure of a sky scraper, almost anything can fuel the creative thought process. This Friday's Keeping It Classy post is all about what inspired my looks for this week. It may not be out of the ordinary and is in fact very common place, but thats what makes it great. Looking at something you see very often in a new way is exciting, and in this case... YUMMY!

Have you ever been INSPIRED by FOOD? (is that even a question?)

I was inspired this week by the colors of two delicious flavors of Ice Cream. Pink Chocolate and Hazelnut Mocha not only taste great together, they sure do have a sweet look!

It got me thinking that this color combination would look really great with clothing and would be a really fun color scheme for your photo sessions. There are so many different shades and options to choose from that I had to put a few looks together to help pass on the Ice Cream Inspiration.

Dressed up or dressed down, light pink and mocha look great together...but why not have a little fun and dress it up! This is also a great transition look as we head into those awkward few weeks where were not really sure to dress for fall or summer.

As we move more into fall, it's time to break out those brown riding boots that we all love. While pink might not be your go to color in the fall, it looks great when paired with those soft brown boots.

Finally, if you are going to wear pink you might as well go all out girly and wear it in a dress. To amp up the sophistication, incorporate the hazelnut mocha into the accessories and a trench is always a safe investment piece.

Ice Cream flavors fueled my creative thinking this week, so try to be inspired by something you enjoy today and don't forget to keep on Keeping It Classy.
