Diary of a Charleston Bride | Wedding Websites

A wedding website can be a valuable tool, especially if you are planning a long-distance wedding like us. I think that having one place that holds all the information regarding the wedding, such as location, gift registry, etc. is the most effective way to communicate to your guests. When it came time to create ours I could not believe all the options. There are some seriously beautiful custom designed ones-see here! I will be the first to admit that I am no technological expert so I sadly came to the realization that unless I was willing to pay someone, ours would not be like any of those!

My disappointment didn’t last long because there are SO many great free options as well. I looked at The Knot and MyWedding (which also offers matching invitations) first before I ultimately settled on WeddingWire, for no specific reason!

I was been very pleased with how easy it was to create and all the different options they offer for you to customize it.  Ours is pretty basic but it serves its purpose and I really like it! I am happy I was able to tie the gray in and feel like it fits the tone of our wedding well- simple and elegant. Here is the link, the password is may3. I would love to know your thoughts!!
