Diary of a Charleston Bride | Bridal Portraits

Last weekend I had such an amazing time with Melissa shooting my bridal portraits. We decided to do them in Charleston and could not haveasked for a more beautiful day-spring is finally here!

I really wanted to do them in the Cistern, which is the center of the College of Charleston's campus. It is where graduation is held and
is so picturesque. The Cistern is what ultimately made me fall in love with going to school there, which led me to falling in love with Carter!

When we did our engagement pictures I feel like I was really nervous and worried about getting the perfect shot. This time around I was so
much more relaxed because I had worked with Melissa before and seen first hand her talent at capturing incredible photos. I am so thankful tohave had a couple opportunities to work with her before May and think it is a must for any bride.

The whole bridal portrait experience really is a trial run for the big day and puts me at ease knowing what went great, and also what things I need to think about and change. The only hard part now is waiting to see the pictures-I am dying!

Here is a little peek that I gave Melissa permission to post!! I purchased my Allure dress from New York Bride and Groom .
