Style Your Wedding | Tips For Color Coordinating Your Wedding | Charlotte NC Wedding Photographer
As a wedding photographer, I have seen numerous weddings and all of them were perfect in their own individual way. However, there has always been one aspect of a wedding that makes it truly picture perfect... styling and coordinating your color scheme! A color scheme that can be found throughout every part of a wedding makes for wonderful images and wonderful memories. It is also ascetically pleasing and your guest will love your attention to detail. While color coordinating can make for a gorgeous wedding, I understand that the stress of planning the Big Day can make it difficult to pick the right colors and remember to incorporate them everywhere. Luckily, I have a few tips for creating a perfectly styled wedding.
1. Start with the basics! After you have picked your color scheme focus on incorporating them into the attire, cake, invitation, and flowers. These are going to be the main focal points of your wedding and as such they should be cohesive.
2. Incorporate the little details. Cuff links and china patterns may not be the first place you think about adding the colors of your big day, but taking the time to make sure the small details match the rest of your wedding makes for a very polished and put together look.
3. Don't pick a venue that boldly clashes with the colors you have set your heart on. The carpet of some reception halls can be pretty noisy in its color and pattern and it may be an eye sore compared to your perfectly styled wedding.
4. Finally, consider mixing it up! If you are only using one or two colors, don't be afraid to incorporate a few different hues of that same color that compliment one another. You don't need to add completely different colors to add variety. Different hues combined with different textures can help break up monotony without becoming mis matched.
