It’s time to SPOTLIGHT two of my #mlhseniorrolemodels team members! You might be wondering why two spotlights, when I have been spotlighting only one per week. Well, I have been working overtime on a special event and time has gotten away from me. You might have heard of this special event? The Laps of Love Walk-A-Thon! If you want to learn more about all of it’s awesomeness you can check out Monday’s Blog Post.
This week I want to give a shout to two Melissa Lynn Hunt Seniors who are shining bright in our role model program. The role model program at it’s core is about positivity within ourselves, within our team, and spreading it around within our community. We 100% believe, that if you are happy with yourself, then that will radiate so brightly and spread throughout our circle of family and friends.
Our girl Alex got real on social media last week and I am so impressed with the courage she showed to share that with social media. See her post below and what I think about it!
I remember so well those pressures she speaks of! Those high school years are some of the most fun and exciting times in our lives. But we are in our prime growing years trying to figure out who we are, who we are going to grow up to be, and try to find the tribe of friends we fit in with! We get so wrapped up in the mind game of it all, that it’s easy to retreat and hide from it. Alex, you are a ROCK STAR for standing up and speaking on the issue of trying to fit in. We all have a place in this big big world and Alex, you definitely have a place in our “role model tribe”!
Let’s talk about my girl Emily! She is a fireball of energy with positivity times infinity. Emily is not only a part of the role model team, she is an assistant on senior portrait sessions. I love the encouragement she gives all of the girls during the photo session. She throws out, “Oh yea girl!” and “You are rocking it!” which adds to the good vibes we’ve got going on.
Today I am spotlighting Emily because of that same positivity she is spreading on social media. One of my goals in the role model program is to remind the girls to be true to who they are. Emily talks about it in her post below.
Each week I look forward to see how my model team is spreading positivity, kindness and encouragement using their social media platforms. I can’t wait to spotlight another team member soon!
